Developmental problems of the hip can be treated at Fitzpatrick Referrals using tailor-designed physical therapy programs without surgery, or by a number of surgical techniques including juvenile pubic symphysiodesis (JPS), triple pelvic osteotomy (TPO), total hip replacement (THR) and femoral head and neck excision. We are able to offer the best choices regardless of patient species or size. We are one of only a handful of centers in the UK offering micro- and mini-Hip replacements for cats and small dogs. In fact we recently operated the world’s smallest hip replacement in a tiny Chihuahua.

Traumatic conditions of the hip are also commonly treated, including joint fracture and luxation.
